I met Christopher on Match.com. The first time we spoke, we talked for nearly eight hours. At the time, I thought he was open and forthcoming—especially when he told me about his arrest record right away. But I would later learn that most of what he said was complete bullshit. Early on, he sent me a video from a podcast hosted by comedian Heather McDonald. In it, she interviewed a friend about her father’s disturbing girlfriend. Christopher told me the woman being discussed was his second wife, Tamara, painting her as diabolical and abusive. He used this story to gain my sympathy. You may listen to the interview here:

My Experience with Christopher Lee Polvado aka Christopher Lee Palvadeau

A True Dirty Jane Story He also claimed to have a great relationship with his father and two sisters. That turned out to be a lie. During the six months I was seeing him, he didn’t see his family once—not even during Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter. He said he had a strong relationship with his daughter, yet he wasn’t invited to her wedding or even to her wedding photoshoot. In fact, right before her wedding, he texted me the back-and-forth messages between him and her. This was not a daughter who respected her father. In fact, she’d rather have anybody else, but him to walk her down the aisle.
